This page contains the personal data protection and privacy policies adopted by Eindec Corporation Limited and its subsidiaries (the “Company” or “We”) in conducting its business activities and governing the use of the website (the “Site”) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

The Company respects the privacy of individuals with regard to personal data and recognises the need to treat this personal data in an appropriate and lawful manner, and is committed to comply with its obligations in this regard, in respect of all personal data it handles.

This Personal Data Policy (the “Policy”) describes the types of Personal Data we may collect from you, how we may use that information, and with whom we may share it.
1.4
Personal Data in this Policy means data that can identify an individual.
1.5
The Company may change some parts of all of the contents of this policy from time to time, and you are advised to check the content of this policy on a regular basis.
1.6
If you consider that this policy has not been followed in respect of personal data about you or others, you should raise the matter with the Data Protection Officer as soon as possible.

COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Generally, the Company collects and uses your personal data for the following purposes:
(a)
Administering and processing your job applications and employments, including but not limited to due diligence/ background checks on job applicants;
(b)
Administering and maintaining shareholders relations which include, but not limited to, reports, newsletters, publications, invitations and products from us;
(c)
Security;
(d)
Internal record keeping; or
(e)
Project management:
Internal record keeping; or
Business communication; and
Managing relevant work passes.

For the purposes stated above, the Company may collect personal information via website, emails, telephone, application form, administrative form or other means. The personal information collected by the Company includes, but not limited to the following:

Name;
(b)
NRIC/ FIN/ Passport Number;
(c)
Nationality;
(d)
Marital status;
(e)
Academic qualifications;
(f)
Date of birth;
(g)
Gender;
(h)
Company name;
(i)
Job title/profession;
(j)
Contact information such as email addresses and telephone numbers;
(k)
Demographic information such as address, postal code, preferences and interests;
(l)
Financial information such as bank account or credit/debit card numbers;
(m)
Employment history;
(n)
Signature; and
(o)
Photograph.

Any personal data supplied by you will be retained by the Company as long as necessary according to our internal policy for the fulfilment of the purposes stated above or is required to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements.

We only collect and use Personal Data for purposes which you have consented to and for which we have been authorised. If we need to use your Personal Data for any purpose which you have not previously consented to, we would seek your consent prior to using your Personal Data for the new purpose.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

3.1
The Company does not sell or rent Personal Data that we collect from individuals, including our website visitors, if applicable. In the course of or in connection with providing our products and services to our customers, we disclose, share and transfer Personal Data to the following parties for the following purposes:
(a)
To our customers/ vendors/ subcontractors/ consultants/ business partners for tender purposes;
(b)
To our agents and sub-contractors for the purposes of providing products and services to our customers on our behalf;
(c)
To our business partners for the purposes of providing products and services to our customers;
(d)
To government and non-government authorities, agencies and/or regulators as required under law or under directions or orders from the government and non-government authorities, agencies and/or regulators for security, regulatory approvals or permits;
(e)
To other subsidiaries or affiliated entities under the Company for the purpose of responding to questions, concerns, comments or feedback on our products or services or our business, market outlook, corporate events and other products and services of the Company that may be of interest to your company, organisation or business;
(f)
To other subsidiaries or affiliated entities under the Company to facilitate the provision of products and services to our customers where the project or engagement involves other subsidiaries or affiliated entities under the Company;
(g)
To event organisers and service providers to facilitate the planning of events/ functions that the Company organises or is involved in.
3.2
We also disclose and transfer Personal Data to the following parties for the purposes of managing, operating, administering and running our business and for our business and legal purposes:
(a)
To our service providers (who may be located outside Singapore) that have been retained to perform services on our behalf, including:
(i)
Service providers who provide IT and outsourcing services such as electronic mail service, data storage, deployment of management operations for information technology and HR outsourcing services;
(ii)
Professional, financial and legal advisors, tax advisors, auditors, insurers and insurance brokers;
(iii)
External contractors to provide consultancy and evaluative services to the Company’s products and services, or organise events for the Company.
(b)
Financial institutions for purposes of payments and transactions related to the Company’s provision of products and services or related to products and services provided to the Company by our vendors/ service providers/ consultants;
(c)
To other subsidiaries or affiliated entities under the Company for the purposes of evaluating our products and services and our business as a group;
(d)
For job applicants, your Personal Data may be shared with other entities or affiliated entities if we take the view that you may be suitable or eligible for another position within the Company, unless you inform us otherwise. The Personal Data will be used in a confidential manner to help the Company monitor the recruitment processes.
3.3
In addition, we would disclose Personal Data in the following circumstances:
(a)
We are required to do so by law or by the listing rules of Singapore Exchange Limited;
(b)
In response to a request from law enforcement authorities or other government officials;
(c)
To comply with a court order or direction from a government agency or regulatory authority ordering the disclosure of the Personal Data; and
(d)
Where the disclosure is necessary for investigations or legal proceedings.

ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

(a)
Within a reasonable timeframe of receiving your request in writing, we will provide you with access to your personal data that is in our possession or control and/or information about the ways in which your personal data has been or may have been used or disclosed by us within a year before the date of the request.
(b)
Within a reasonable timeframe of receiving your request in writing, we will correct an error or omission in your personal data that is in our possession or control and send the corrected personal data to other organisations to which the personal data was disclosed within a year before your request was made.
(c)
Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an access request. If so, we will inform you of the fee before processing your request.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We employ a range of technological and physical security arrangements and maintain safeguards to protect against the accidental or unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, deletion and other similar risks to Personal Data.

ACCURACY OF PERSONAL DATA

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that personal data collected by us or on our behalf is accurate and complete.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

Withdrawal of Consent

(a)
The consent that you provide for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is withdrawn by you in writing. You may withdraw your consent and request us to stop using and/or disclosing your personal data for any or all of the purposes listed above by submitting your request via email to our Data Protection Officer.
(b)
Depending on the complexity of the request and its impact to our relationship with you, we will cease (and instruct any of our data intermediaries and agents to cease) collecting, using or disclosing the personal data within 10 days of our receipt of your request, unless required or authorised under applicable laws.

UPDATES TO THIS PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

We may change or update portions of this Policy at any time and without prior notice to you. Please review this Policy from time to time so you are aware of any changes or updates to the notice. We will indicate the effective date of the notice. If you do not agree with any of the changes or updates to the Policy, you have the option of withdrawing your consent to our collection, use, disclose and processing of your Personal Data (please refer to Section 8 above).
